Summary:

Further to our meeting on Thursday 31st August at Finn McCools it was encouraging to see the number of people attending and also the quality of cars to be presented for show early in the up coming season.

With the possibility of the largest showing of SuperStocks in Auckland for numerous years, it is also good to see new blood wanting to show their abilities on the regional stage also.

Most are targeting their first night as being the 28th of October. The main intent of the meeting was to ensure that as a class there are enough cars to put on a show at Waikaraka Park and have a respectable showing at other events around the country.

The main issue as a group was in establishing trust between ourselves and other tracks to better promotions both at home and away. To this end several people have committed to making the journey to Huntly's opening in order to have a reciprocal arrangement on our first night of racing. Rotorua has a full field themselves but it is wished to form a possibility of Rotorua and Auckland also working together.

We shall continue to advise progress and promotions as the information comes to hand.
At least if we can work together we should be able to give Auckland Supporters something to cheer about.

Yes Teams racing was also discussed.

For now the drivers are creating a schedule of meetings they are likely/wanting to attend around the country and at some point we will have another informal meeting to see where everyone is at.
