May 2007 - Off Season Update

Well apart from the cars being washed and covered up for storage not much has happened. Then I saw on the Macgor's Speedway forum site someone asking about new cars for the season and I wonder if this applicable?

It has become more common to see mini mini stockcars and each time we have seen them, a normal comment is "that looks like fun", but at the same time "it doesn't look right". So it was decided to attempt to create one. Using pretty much the same measurements from the full size cars and just dividing everything by 2. The result of which has been.....

The CRC hopefully gives you an idea of scale. It is intended at the moment the car will be as close as possible to the real thing including coil-over suspension, beam front end, and a 125cc electric start engine. Over the next month or so I will update the cars progress.
